New Ways to Use Coffee Filters
A recent article put out by San Antonio’s Kens5.com explored 32 new ways to use your coffee filters. While you can read the entire list, here are my favorite suggestions:
Fresh Smelling Gym Bag
Pour odor absorbing baking soda into a filter and secure it with an elastic band. Add the pouch into your gym bag, running shoes or any other smelly place to get rid of the odors.
Clean your Microwave
Instead of letting food spatter in the microwave use a coffee filter to cover your dishes. This prevents the mess in the first place.
Window and Mirror Cleaning Rag
Because filters have no lint they make great cleaning rags for your windows and mirrors. Simply use your favorite cleaner and wipe the surface dry with a filter.
Soak up the Grease
Use filters in the kitchen after cooking greasy foods such as bacon. Put a filter on the plate and set food on top for a couple minutes.
Homemade Dryer Sheets
If you run out of dryer sheets simply add a few drops of fabric softener to a coffee filter and throw in the dryer as usual.
Do you have any other creative ideas to add to the list of alternate uses for coffee filters?
